Pambula

If you would like a quiet coastal town with a particularly good surfing beach and which is central to all the delights of the Sapphire Coast, then the township of Pambula Beach is your place to stay. Just a few kilometres inland is the pretty rural township of Pambula itself which also is a quiet location central to the Sapphire Coast.

Pambula, South Coast, NSW

Pambula Beach has a modern caravan park with absolute water frontage to this beach which is patrolled in summer. Behind this great Aussie beach is a peaceful playground and picnic area shaded by our beautiful native gums.

A licensed bowling club is also at this beachside village and welcomes visitors to these twin towns.

Nearby you can go on a cruise on the beautiful Pambula Lake and River which are bordered by the Ben Boyd National Park.

Pambula itself has a range of shops including galleries and craft outlets. Restaurants and other eateries offer enticing snacks and meals and the town also has two modern motels and a licensed hotel.

Many of the town's buildings have historical significance. One of the best examples of these beautiful restored buildings is The Grange located just south of Pambula which was formerly the mansion of a local sea captain. Today it opens its doors and splendid gardens and lawns as a quality restaurant and function centre welcoming visitors to this enchanting historical home.
