Who comes to our meetings?
All women are welcome at our meetings.
There are many members who are not 'in business' themselves. Amongst our members are also women who are employees, managers, interested in starting a business or just interested in their community.
Some of our most valuable members are retired women who who come along to offer their experience. Young women interested in a future business career also attend.
Meetings are conducted in a non-smoking environment.

What happens at meetings?
Our meetings are very informal. We all want a casual evening where networking and learning is the primary reason for attendance.
Generally our meeting format includes an address by one of the organisers, a presentation by our meeting sponsor, a talk from our guest speaker, networking and a general discussion.
After the meeting, members often stay on for more networking opportunities.

How can I become involved?
There are many ways you can benefit from joining our group.
Meetings are enjoyable and informative. Come along, bring a friend, a neighbour, a teenager. Bring at least 5 business cards and a sense of humour.
Members are encouraged to help any of the many subcommittees we have organised for our initiatives.
You can also be involved by suggesting guest speakers and networking activities, by sponsoring a meeting or leading a workshop.

Future Meetings
During 2008-2009 we plan to conduct meetings monthly on the second Monday of the month at the Catalina Country Club.
Other events are also in the pipeline.
Meeting Advices are sent to members by email where possible. Meetings are also notified in the local press and on local radio in the week before meetings.
Non-members are always very welcome to attend our meetings.
Please contact Sue on 4472 5811 if you wish to discuss your membership.
