Just 3 hours drive south from Sydney, it is located amidst pristine national parks, waterways and forests. It is a gateway for bushwalkers, bird watchers, nature lovers and enthusiaists of all water sports eg. surfing, swimming, canoeing, water ski-ing, boating and sailing. Local deep water sea fishing and scuba diving charters are available.   Italian fishermen pioneered our thriving fishing industry, lending the town its distinctive ambience. Ulladulla boasts two major supermarkets, a modern leisure centre with heated pool and gymnasium, cinema complex, a variety of sporting and service clubs and a selection of cafes and restaurants offering some of the finest cuisine available in NSW.   Ulladulla also plays host to a range of major annual cultural festivals including the Blessing of the Fleet Festival at Easter, Tabula Rasa Arts Festival in June/July and the Food & Wine Festival by the Sea in August.   Nearby picturesque Milton is well known for a wide variety of antique shops and arts and crafts galleries. It celebrates its rural heritage annually at the Milton Country Show each March and the Scarecrow Festival each April.
