A great family day!

Scarecrow Festival - On Display from start of School Holidays
Locals, visitors and passers by will all be stopping at Milton asking "Why all the scarecrows?", What's going on?" These wonderful creations won't scare off visitors - they will encourage them. Local businesses will be displaying scarecrows which can be personalised to suit their businesses. They will adopt these scarecrows, care for it, feed it, etc. The scarecrows will be gathered together in town where they are judged, awarded prizes at the Settlers Fair and be used for promotions throughout the year (Christmas, with Santa Hats - Easter, with bunny ears where they can all meet up and form a float for the Blessing of the Fleet Parade and at other times with themes and events yet to be created). Best dressed vegetables will also be hosted by the Cultural Centre.

Beer Festival - Sunday Held at Riteway Supermarket. Milton's own beer festival and family day includes boutique beer tasting (approx 25 varieties), giveaways with every six pack purchased and raffle prizes drawn on the day. Be there and be part of the action 11am to 3pm.
